Three Gaborone City Council (GCC) councillors have exposed underhanded recruitment tactics employed by the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) at a press briefing held yesterday.

 The opposition councillors were by Wednesday supposed to have been welcomed into the BDP by Vice President Mokgweetsi Masisi.

The councillors are Tsholofelo Amos, Mankie Sekete and Tetelo Thebe along with two Francistown region Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) youth members, Thapelo Thatayaone and Omphemetse Demana.  Each gave their individual accounts on how they were being wooed by the BDP.
