Masisi promises better life after Khama

MAUN: Vice President, Mokgweetsi Masisi, has promised Botswana Democratic Party(BDP) followers a better life after President Ian Khama vacates his seat in 2018.

Addressing a political rally over the weekend in the Maun East Constituency, Masisi told the gathering that Khama will vacate his seat at the end of his tenure on March 31,2018.

Masisi said he will officially ascend to the presidency on April 1. He said he will work very hard for the party to reclaim its former glory and win the 2019 general elections with a landslide. Masisi praised BDP as the best political party in the African continent.
