Multi-talented musician, Dops Baipidi, has collaborated with traditional dance music maestro, Ditiro Leero and Satar BW in his new Afro Pop single titled, Ke Moya.

Baipidi, who is also an events promoter-cum actor’s latest release was produced by Thapelo wa Mojuta at Big Teeh Productions. In an interview with Arts&Culture, he stated that the song was inspired by the day-to-day issues that he faces. Baipidi also explained that he collaborated with Satar BW and Ditiro Leero as he believes they resonate with the concept, therefore it was much easier for them to gel.

He said although the two artists are different, they are very good at unpacking stories in a song just like him. He described them as very good storytellers. “I have tried to bring something unique that everyone can relate with regardless of their age and gender. However, since joining the music industry, my music has been growing at a snail's pace because I was still trying to fit and align myself with the international standard.

However, my main challenge is lack of resources to market and promote my music and also the airplay from the radio stations,” he pointed out. Baipidi has two albums and four singles to his name. Apart from music, Baipidi is also a good scriptwriter, MCee and artistic director.
