Man arrested for alleged stabbing in Mogoditshane

A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged with unlawful wounding following an alleged stabbing incident involving a 27-year-old man in Mogoditshane, Block 5, on Saturday night.

Confirming the incident, Mogoditshane Police Station acting commander, Assistant Superintendent Mompoloki Ramaphoi, said they received a report at around 10 pm from a passerby who found the victim lying by the roadside with stab wounds.

“The victim was rushed to Nkoyaphiri Clinic and later referred to Princess Marina Hospital, where he is currently hospitalised and recovering,” Ramaphoi said.
