Man, 42 rapes Mogoditshane teen

A 42-year-old man of Bobididi ward in Mogoditshane has been charged with the rape of a 13-year-old female. Justin Mmereki was arraigned before Broadhurst magistrate Faith Ngandu on Friday charged with a single count of rape. The accused’s plea has been reserved.

According to particulars of the offence, on or around June 17, 2017 the accused had unlawful carnal knowledge with the Standard Six teenager. The alleged incident happened in Mogoditshane.

In court, public prosecutor Inspector Tsogo Rantopo pleaded with court to remand the accused in custody.
