Love triangle turns deadly in Mmatshumo

A romantic rivalry turned deadly in the early hours of Saturday when a 38-year-old man was brutally killed following a violent altercation with a fellow boyfriend at a woman’s residence in Nshabe ward, Mmatshumo.

According to Letlhakane Police Station acting commander, Tsholofelo Masole, the tragic incident occurred around 2am when the two men allegedly met unexpectedly at the same woman’s home.

A heated argument broke out between the two, who are believed to be romantically involved with the same woman, which quickly escalated into a fight.
