Lobatse Senior Secondary School (Lobsec) alumni have formed a group aimed at helping upcoming students at the high school with their studies amidst dark clouds in the local education sector.

Moreover, Lobsec Alumni, as it is called, was established to help former students in need due to various social problems and life threatening diseases.

The group came into existence last year when the school celebrated its 40th anniversary. One of the founders Boitumelo Gaseitsiwe told The Monitor in an interview that they want to plant a seed of compassion, responsibility and respect in the student community and Lobsec alumni.
