Law Society AGM to decide on Dibotelo issue

The Law Society of Botswana (LSB) has taken its matter with Chief Justice (CJ) Maruping Dibotelo to the annual general meeting planned for November 30 in Maun.

In a notice to the members, LSB executive secretary Tebogo Moipolai, states that the "Council has resolved that any further action arising out of the CJ's failure to apologise requires a resolution of members."

Moipolai's notice followed a response from Dibotelo justifying contents of his circular to the Judges cautioning against the practice of forum shopping.
