Khama to get P4m first year of retirement

Outgoing President Ian Khama has been allocated the sum of P4.3 million for his retirement from the highest office in the land.

He will receive his first wholesome pay in the financial year starting April 1, 2018, right after his vice, Mokgweetsi Masisi, steps into power.

The bulk of the budget will go towards remuneration in the office, with P948,960 earmarked for ‘basic salary’ and nearly P50,000 for different types of allowances.
