The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) spokesperson Dithapelo Keorapetse and BCP Youth League president, Tumiso Rakgare have kissed and made up.

The party leadership was forced to intervene after the two exchanged vitriolic attacks in public. After the party brokered a meeting with the intention to reconcile the two leaders, they together penned a joint ‘peace’ statement yesterday.

In their joint statement, Rakgare admitted that he was wrong to have had an interview with a local newspaper regarding matters that are largely being discussed by the party executive committee and the central committee.
