Kazungula police arrest duo carrying P400,000

KASANE: Police here have intercepted two foreigners in possession of over P400,000 cash at the Kazungula border, suspected to be stolen monies. The duo was about to cross the border into Zambia.

Speaking to the police District Administration Officer (DAO)based in Kasane, Superintendent Sazi Benson Mphinyane, confirmed the incident yesterday.

"We were working on a tip-off following information that there was a BMW car destined to cross the border at the Kazungula ferry border last Saturday," explained Mphinyane.
