Judgment reserved in Tshukudu case

Justice Harold Ruhukya of the Industrial Court on Friday reserved his ruling in the matter in which Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) president, Johannes Tshukudu wants to interdict the government after he was transferred from his workstation to the Ministry of Transport and Communication (MTC).

On April 8, Tshukudu, who is also Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) president, was transferred from his position as senior lecturer at Tlokweng College of Education to the MTC as chief administration officer.

His lawyer Mboki Chilisa argued that his client was not afforded a chance to respond as his transfer was immediate.
