Ipelegeng entraps people into poverty - Moroka

FRANCISTOWN: Just when the 15th National Business Conference was gaining momentum Monday morning, resident director and CEO of De Beers Botswana, Neo Moroka blasted the government’s Ipelegeng or drought relief programme for entrapping people in poverty.

Moroka is also the chairperson of Vision 2036 Presidential Task Team which is charged with the responsibility of chatting the path for the country’s economic fortunes. His voice is the voice of authority more so that he is formerly, a cabinet member.

“Ipelegeng is a policy that entraps people in poverty. No one will really graduate from Ipelegeng a better person,” Moroka blasted to a loud applause from the conference which proved that the over 400 delegates in the conference hall were in sync with him.
