A home-alone woman was on Saturday attacked and robbed of goods with an estimated value of P49, 000 at Mogoditshane Block 8.

The victim was roused from her sleep by a loud bang on her door as unknown criminals forced entry into the house at around 2am. The intruders helped themselves to two laptops, a television set before making away in her Toyota Vios. Mogoditshane Police Station commander, Superintendent Boemo Bok said the vehicle was later found abandoned in Metsimotlhabe, with the suspects still at large. “Sensing danger, the victim locked herself inside the bedroom as the burglars helped themselves to her goods," Bok said.
