An investigation into the sudden death of a 54-year-old herder who was found lying motionless outside a farmhouse in the outskirts of Tewane village has been launched by police in Mahalapye.

According to the Mahalapye Central Assistant Police Station commander, Assistant Malakia Gabana, the incident was reported on Saturday morning after the farm owner discovered his employee unresponsive in the yard.

“Upon arrival at the farm, about a kilometre away from Tewane village, the deceased’s employer found him lying motionless outside the house and immediately alerted the police,” Gabana said.
