Headmen of Arbitration to receive travel allowances

Headmen of Arbitration around the country will soon have something to smile about. This is after Ntlo ya Dikgosi and the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development agreed yesterday to provide them with subsistence and travelling allowances.

During a session yesterday, the Ministry acceded to the Ntlo ya Dikgosi motion requesting government to consider paying the allowances to headmen of arbitration who attend crime prevention committee meetings outside their duty stations.

“No one can dispute the work that is being done by headmen of arbitration,” said Kgosi Moeti Monyamane, presenting his motion.
