Government dismisses London protests

The government of Botswana spokesperson Dr Jeff Ramsay says they are not concerned by last week’s London protects against President Ian Khama by Survival International (SI).

European media reported that SI protestors last Thursday (February 13) greeted Khama when he arrived at the anti poaching conference.

SI is an international advocacy group for indigenous people, which has been at loggerheads with the Khama regime over the relocation of Basarwa from the Central Kgalagadi Game Reserve.
