FRANCISTOWN: In his element, President Ian Khama left residents of Masunga in tenterhooks last Friday when he bid them farewell ahead of his April 1, 2018 departure from office.

Apart from his bad pronunciation of words in his rather improved Setswana, Khama seemingly had a package for the villagers towards the end of his official address, which has become similar across villages and towns, albeit with slight adjustments.

Most importantly, after carefully listening to Kgosi Maruje III and Tati West MP Biggie Butale introducing their ‘beautiful wives’ Khama started taking his notes.
