Four NEC members back Butale

As suspended Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) Biggie Butale mounts a legal action against some members of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), four members of the NEC have backed the former Tati West legislator with supporting affidavits.

Butale was suspended for 90 days on Monday and he filed an urgent application Wednesday before Lobatse High Court to overturn his suspension among others.

The matter will be decided today. The NEC members backing Butale include suspended secretary for labour affairs Moiseraele Goya, Secretary for International Affairs James Kgalajwe, Secretary for Constitutional and Legal Affairs Osego Mapiki and secretary for economic affairs Mmapula Matlhole.
