Four men, including a Zimbabwean national, have been arrested after they were caught red-handed slaughtering a cow in Flower Town ward in Mahalapye, in violation of ongoing Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) restrictions.

Police say the act was carried out despite clear national restrictions prohibiting the slaughter of cloven-hoofed animals due to the FMD outbreak.
