Four individuals were brought before the Shoshong Customary Court, each facing a single count of stock theft on Tuesday.

According to the charge sheet, Keakile Keakile and Thabang Lesole, both aged 24 from Sehoro ward, Ikongwe village, along with Masego Khubidu, 49, from Semitwe cattle post, were found in possession of a cow carcass and biltong, for which they failed to provide a satisfactory account. Keakile and Lesole were apprehended at Ikongwe, while Khubidu was arrested at Semitwe cattle post on Sunday.

Meanwhile, a 48-year-old Mooketsi Bakaetswe of Mokwena ward, Mokgenene, also appeared before Kgosi Mosinyi Mosinyi of Shoshong, facing a single count of stock theft. Bakaetswe was detained by Kgomokhumo operatives on Monday at Legotlhong cattle post near Mokgenene village after being found in possession of a horse suspected to have been stolen at Thupane cattle post near Ikongwe village.
