Dibete Police have arrested a 38-year-old man (name known to this publication) in connection with the rape incident of his alleged 24-year-old ex-girlfriend.

The victim had told the police that she had met her ex-boyfriend on Saturday night at a Chibuku depot in Leshibitse village. She alleges he threatened her and then forced her to go with him to his house, whereupon arrival, he allegedly raped her.

Confirming to investigation into the matter, Dibete Police Station commander, Superintendent Meshack Ranku said they received the report of the incident on Sunday early morning.
