The Speaker of the National Assembly, Gladys Kokorwe has urged the Seventh Adventist Day (SDA) church women to support and uplift one another, not only in difficult situations, but also in successful undertakings.

Kokorwe, who implored women to emulate the goose, was giving a keynote address at the SDA Women’s conference hosted by the Botswana Union recently.

“When geese fly and one of them falls sick or is injured, they show concern for it by landing, until it is able to fly again or die. When the lead goose tires in flight, another moves into the lead position with a fresh sense of direction and energetic stamina. The lead goose gives direction and energises the rest of the wedge that are following. The geese communicate,” Kokorwe said.
