Two men who were attacked and beaten to a pulp in Mahalapye on Saturday morning are in stable condition at a local hospital, The Monitor has learnt.

The duo and others were allegedly entertaining themselves at a local liquor spot in Xhosa 2 when they had a misunderstanding that led to a fight.

Mahalapye Central Police Station commander, Superintendent Meshack Ranku, said they received the report of the grievous bodily harm case around 3:35am.
