Defence attorney Unity Dow has asked a panel of three Court of Appeal (CoA) judges to postpone the appeal by a murder convict Raymond Kago Leshomo, to give her sufficient time to prepare for the matter.

Dow, a former high court judge, made the application before justices Dr Seth Twum, Stanley Moore and Craig Howie. "I was only appointed three weeks ago as such I did not have sufficient time to study the record and prepare for the matter", Dow submitted.

There was no opposition from the State thus the matter was postponed to July session of the CoA session.
