The Ministry of Defence and Security this week revealed the construction of yet other residential accommodation units for the army.

Earlier this year, the ministry handed over a total of 113 housing units to the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) at Sarona City in Ledumang, Gaborone, which is expected to enhance cohesion, easy command and control and operational readiness.

For years, the BDF has been faced with acute shortage of accommodation for its personnel, the problem that remains a concern.
