Daisy Loo case tied in knots and stitches

The Daisy Loo case which has been on the court roll for over two and half years is plagued with hitches.

On Thursday, the Village Magistrate court heard that the accused persons notified the High Court on 13 October that they want to make an application for acquittal on the charges they are currently facing.

The accused persons want the High Court to give relief 'to set aside as unreasonable, the decision by the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to continue prosecuting them'.
