Cllr Moloko defects to BNF

Diphetogo ward councillor Tshepo Moloko has defected to the Botswana National Front (BNF). Moloko was a Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) councillor and Diphetogo ward in the Gaborone Bonnigton North constituency.

Moloko, who was supporting the Ndaba Gaolathe team at the BMD violent congress in Bobonong, said he could not join the new party, the Alliance for Progressives (AP) because he believes in opposition cooperation.

“I do not have a problem with Gaolathe, and I respect him as a leader. My worry is that the issue of joining the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) by the new party is not fully addressed.
