Mastokana has been described as Charma-gal’s long-serving member, having joined her band in 2008 during the Culture Spears era. She has been part of all Charma-gal’s Ekentolo projects, no wonder on the day of her burial, Charma-gal requested that she is sent away with one of the three awards Charmagal won last year, specifically for Best Mosakaso category. Mastokana was more than just a dancer in the band; she had also been part of the distribution and sales team for the Charma-gal brand, according to manager Leshman Matenge.
