The Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) has been hailed for its impressive rise since its formation in 2018, growing from just 4% to over 8% in the national vote.

Party president, Mephato Reatile, highlighted that at first they had three Members of Parliament in 2019.

He added that now, six years later, there are five legislators, with more than 20 councillors in local government, which Reatile said is very commendable. Speaking confidently at the party’s national conference in Molepolole on Saturday about the party’s progress, Reatile emphasised that this surge is more than just numbers.
