FRANCISTOWN: A man from Nata appeared before the Francistown Magistrate Court on Thursday to face a charge of murder.

The accused, Goitsemodimo Mbise, 44, allegedly murdered Dimakatso Mokhutshwane, 70, between March 28 and April 1.

The prosecution alleges that Mbise suspected Mokhutshwane of cheating on him with another man and was the last person seen with her. During the hearing, Detective Sergeant Linah Johannes, the Investigating Officer (IO), informed Senior Magistrate Thapelo Buang that Mbise was arrested on April 1.
