Boko unchallenged for BNF presidency

Botswana National Front (BNF) president, Duma Boko has a clear path to retaining his position, as he will be unchallenged at the party’s elective congress scheduled for July 17 in Francistown.

Briefing the media yesterday, BNF secretary general, Tapiso Kgosikoma said besides Boko, the incumbents in the positions of deputy secretary general and health and environment secretary will also be unchallenged.

However, the central committee elections will be hotly contested, with lobby lists emerging and few analysts willing to predict the outcome.
