BIHL launches Thomas Tlou Scholarship

As the world celebrated International Literacy Day yesterday, the Botswana Insurance Holdings Limited (BIHL) Trust launched a scholarship to honour the late prominent academic and historian, Professor Thomas Tlou.

The BIHL Thomas Tlou Scholarship will benefit talented young Batswana to pursue postgraduate studies at any university in the SADC region from 2012.

The studies will be in any discipline aimed at contributing to Botswana's socio-economic development.Presenting the scholarship, BIHL Chairman Doctor Happy Fidzani said this is part of the BIHL Group of companies' corporate social responsibility.
