BERA hosts 16th BOLESWANA symposium

The Botswana Educational Research Association (BERA) will host the 16th BOLESWANA symposium on the 12-14 July 2016 at University of Botswana (UB) under the theme Improving Education Quality and Standards through Research: Post-2015 Opportunities and Challenges.

BOLESWANA stands for Botswana Educational Research Association (BERA), Lesotho Educational Research Association (LERA), Swaziland Research Association (SERA) and Namibia Research Association (NERA).

In 1981 ministries of education and national universities of Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland formed national research associations and mandated them to play a vital role in the coordination of research activities at the national level and the three national associations. A decision was made to include Namibia at a later stage.
