FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) activist, Omphile Mazebedi who recently lost the Phillip Matante East primaries, has joined the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) days after falling out with the BMD leadership. She made her intentions clear in an interview with Mmegi yesterday. Mazebedi’s recent move ends days of speculation regarding her political future.

She recently contested the party primaries, which were won by Uyapo Nyeku.

Cracks begun to emerge as Mazebedi and her supporters heavily disputed the primary election outcomes.
