BCP to hold primaries next month

The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) will hold its primary election next month. BCP President Dumelang Saleshando told a press briefing today that any councillor who has not paid their monthly subscriptions would be vetted out.

Saleshando said the primaries would be held in their 17 allocated constituencies.

“The constituency will have to express their views about the candidates. Vetting committee will look at the reasons raised by either branch or constituency against the candidate.
