Botswana Congress Party (BCP) executive committee has resolved to suspend candidate’s launches until the last day of voter registration.

The party made the decision so as to concentrate on campaigning to get members to use the second supplementary registration to register for the October general elections.

The supplementary registration is expected to start from May 1, and end on May 18.  In a well attended and successful manifesto launch at the Maruapula grounds on Saturday, the BCP officially unveiled party president and Gaborone Central parliamentary candidate, Dumelang Saleshando, his team and others from 54 constituencies around the country.
