Bakgatla regent Kgosi Bana Sekai has called on the tribe to get down on their knees and pray as they continue to lose some of their own to knives.

Sekai who was speaking at the funeral of Mochudi East legislator Isaac Davids said he had organised for pastors from different churches to come together at the Kgotla and pray for murders taking place in the village.

“We have lost our legislator to a knife.Just last week we heard of Jafta Radibe’s son being killed with a knife at Molapo Crossing in Gaborone. We also laid to rest a 26-year young man who was killed by fellow Bakgatla last week.
