Accused DIS agent in fatal drug bust wants state to withdraw case

A special agent of the Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS), Oteng Keraamang accused to have played a role in the drug bust police shootout that left one dead at the GSS grounds has demanded that the case should be withdrawn.

Amongst the six accused persons arraigned before the court is a DIS agent Keraamang, alleged to be part of the drug syndicate .

The five other accused persons are Phenyo Godisang (39), Tshepo Seakanyeng (38), Lebogang David (39), Artwell Mpofu (41), and Isaac Sinemba (35). They are all charged with three counts, one of which is giving false information to a person employed in public service.
