A3 road accident claims 22 lives

The accident reportedly occurred in the morning. Number One District Traffic Officer Robert Mmese confirmed that of the 22 people who died, 12 are men while the rest (10) are women. Twenty-one of those who died were in the Sprinter. The other deceased person is the truck driver who was en route to Zambia from South Africa. The accident comes just less than a year after another accident claimed 16 lives along the A3 road, near Hubona village. The Hubona accident involved a mini-bus and a Toyota Dyna.
