FRANCISTOWN: With the polling date fast approaching, Odirile Vee Sento’s Black Money Makers and the Botswana National Youth Council (BNYC) have joined forces to encourage Batswana to vote.

The two hope their joint effort would entice particularly young people to exercise their democratic right to vote. Black Money Makers and the BNYC would on a one-day gig themed One Youth, One Vote stage performances from the stable at the Francistown stadium on Friday.

Over the years, the voting process in Botswana has been characterised by voter apathy with many young Batswana arguing that it is not necessary for them to participate because nothing changes. This is despite the fact that the young people of this country are in the forefront complaining about the leadership.
