UHURU to headline the launch of Empire Lounge

South African four-man music group Uhuru will perform at the official launch of the newly branded Empire Lounge (formerly United Lounge) at Block 6 on Friday.

The group is made up of Themba Sekowe (Maphorisa), Nqobile Mahlanu (Mapiano), Sihle Dlalisisa (DJ Clap) and Xelimpilo Simelane (Xeli). They are mostly known for their smash hit Y-Tjukutja, released in 2013, a song that won them the best collaboration of the year at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2014.

The Kalawa Jamzee group have even produced Mafikizolo’s chart topping song Khona. The group is not new to the local circles having performed in shows like Spring Explosion before.
