This year was a busy one in the entertainment and arts scene, with a number of new events, while established ones decided to revamp and up their game. Annual events, which skipped a year or two, made a return in 2015.There are however, some events, which critics said the organisers were overly ambitious, and others of course saw it as a ploy to swindle Batswana of their hard earned money. Some events flopped, while others staged below standard events, which failed to deliver what they had promised revellers.

BOMU Awards

The Annual Botswana Musicians Union lived up to its promise of honouring and rewarding ‘deserving’ musicians, by hosting the 7th BOMU awards, which were held at GICC on October 31, 2015. A number of musicians went home smiling from ear-to-ear after winning awards, including Charma Gal who bagged four awards, MMP Family, Amantle BW, and Shumba Ratshega, just to mention a few.
