If Rock stars have never partied in the rain ,then they need a guide on how to have fun from the Son Of The Soil (SOTS) crew. Despite the rain that stood to compromise the event on Saturday, the beat went on and the event continued as planned

The organisers showed determination on their side as men and women prepared and cooked food in open fires under the drizzle Patrons on the other hand did not disappoint as they took the ‘come rain or shine’ saying to the extreme by gracing the event in large numbers clad in outfits that go with the cultural SOTS theme.This year marked the annual SOTS festival’s 10 years of being in existence and it took place with a jubilant celebratory mood.

It still remains to be decided whether it was the P75,000 cash injection into the event by Brand Botswana or the change in venue of the event from Masimo Getaway to Boetelo Farms in Notwane that made it such a hit. The organisers’ determination and commitment can also be added to the equation as it cannot go unnoticed.
