Poetavango calls out to Botswana journos

The annual Poetavango Spoken Word Poetry event has a new feature this year, the organisation’s event manager Thato Molosi has revealed.

For the first time, the event, to be held in Maun on October 26, will have a literacy award competition for writers living in Botswana.

“This is our first competition that involves story writers. Our plan is to spread it out and include other writers like journalists where awards will be presented to the best story-writing journalist.
