Nijel's fest pays respect to elders

While music festivals are known for fun and entertainment activities, this year’s Nzipo Ku Marobela Bukalanga Republic music festival has added a different and poignant aspect.

It will see the organiser and 800m Olympic silver medallist, Nijel Amos have lunch with the elderly, as a sign of respect and honour for his grandmother who raised him and his siblings single-handedly.

The festival, which is held annually at Amos’s home village of Marobela will be held on December 23, 2018 at the spacious Nkosho we Madzu Farm.
