After winning only one local award out of 10 nominations at both the Botswana Musicians Union (BOMU) Awards and Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAS) recently, local comedian-cum-rapper William Last KRM, also known as Motsetserepa in the entertainment space, has been nominated for The South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHAs).

The Tinto hitmaker managed to win the Best Newcomer award at the BOMU awards but this will even be a tougher one for Motsetserepa because he is nominated in the best international act category alongside American music giants such as Drake and Kanye West. The Best International Act is a category which was introduced this year to celebrate the 10th edition of the event alongside another new category, Artist of the Decade.

After a successful run last year, SAHHAs returns with what has been dubbed as "The Manifesto" which is the theme for this year. The show will boast a number of appearances, live performances and tributes by today’s leading musicians within the Hip Hop culture and will be aired on SABC 1 on December 4, 2021.
