“I am a Setswana poet. I do not think at any day I would opt to do poetry in another language apart from my beautiful mother tongue.
I often refer to my craft as poetry with a vision; that is because I do not just do poetry for the sake of doing it.
It highlights the need to protect rights such as access to clean water, education, healthcare and freedom of expression.President Duma Boko, rightly honours past interventions from securing a dignified burial for Gaoberekwe Pitseng in the CKGR to promoting linguistic inclusion.
