Leshie Lovesong goes all out

Performing artist Lesego ‘Leshie Lovesong’ Nchunga went all out during her last Love Letters series performance titled Be at Maitisong TheatRe Friday night. Be is the third and last chapter of the Love Letters. The chapter narrates the emotions that people in relationships go through.

“You are reluctant like the Botswana rain that leads us on; I do not see the universe unfolding in your eyes; I’m not the kind of script you send back for re-edits,” recited Leshie Lovesong as she recited one of the poems titled Fine Print.

While reciting her various poems such as Monster, The Floor and Moving In Together Leshie Lovesong had contemporary dancers on stage that performed theatrical dance moves that were inline with her pieces.
