SELEBI-PHIKWE: KTM Choir held an intensive rehearsal in preparation for a decent send off of its founding director Gomolemo Motswaledi last Sunday.

Motswaledi who will be buried in Serowe on Friday founded the choir in 1993. KTM spokesperson, Thupane Gasejasepe, said they have rehearsed a number of songs for Motswaledi’s send off among them, Kgalemela Setotojane, and Ponatshegelo, which are songs he (Motswaledi) arranged.

Gasejasepe said some of Motswaledi’s favourite songs, which KTM has lined-up include Fa Kena Le Jesu Nka Ya Kae Le Kae and O Se Re Gogele, which Motswaledi wrote and dedicated to the late Sethailwe Monnaapula.
He said Motswaledi was very passionate and patriotic about his country and loved the song Diponatshegelo, which loosely translated means that without premonitions the nation never stands firm.
